James Bruneau is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based artist with a background and education in fine art. He appreciates art in all its forms, and enjoys working in a wide variety of media. While steeped in traditional art, James also has interest in more contemporary materials and techniques, including miniature painting, tattooing, special effects make-up, comic illustration, cartooning, and street art. Elements of all these forms weasel their way into his work. James most enjoys creating compositions that exude both traditional and modern elements, either blending them harmoniously, or purposely making them work against one another.
